I am from Tennessee in the United States. My grandparents made the journey from Syria, to Argentina and finally to a small plateau town in the Cumberland Mountains. The hummus I make is a recipe that was passed down from my grandfather to my mom and that I am now happy to share. Believe me- good hummus is hard to come by, so give it a try!

Hummus, La Cocina Safdie is made from basic natural ingredients, which makes it healthy and able to be enjoyed by all. All humus flavors are Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan Friendly, Dairy Free and Gluten Free (although cooked in a non gluten free kitchen).

Ingredients Classic: GARBANZOS, VIRGIN OLIVE OIL, LEMON, TAHINI, GARLIC, CUMIN, BLACK PEPPER, SEA SALT

Ingredients Roasted Red Pepper: GARBANZOS, VIRGIN OLIVE OIL, LEMON, TAHINI, GARLIC, CUMIN, BLACK PEPPER, SEA SALT, ROASTED RED PEPPER

Ingredients Hot Pepper: GARBANZOS, VIRGIN OLIVE OIL, LEMON, TAHINI, GARLIC, CUMIN, BLACK PEPPER, SEA SALT, CHILI PEPPERS

What do I eat Hummus with?

Try it with some of my home-made pita as a snack or a light meal. You can also try it with raw vegetables, in a wrap or sandwhich, with grilled vegetables, or any kind of bread. But hummus lovers eat it with basically everything!
